We are looking for an experienced Marketing strategist to lead our Marketing department. You’ll be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for our company. Our Marketing strategist position involves a variety of tasks, including designing digital marketing campaigns and performing market research. If you’re a creative, goal-oriented professional, we would like you to be part of our team and share innovative ideas to achieve our targets. Responsibilities

  • Set specific marketing goals
  • Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business target
  • Support the Business Development team through development and execution of lead qualification and customer relationship management programs
  • Develop digital campaigns to increase web traffic to drive awareness of Transform Materials’ technology including development of customer presentation materials and oversight of public relations activities

Experience / Education / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or technology; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years commercial experience required, focus on industrial gases and/or chemicals highly desired
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including employee development and coaching
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing strategist or Marketing manager
  • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media)
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics

Transform Materials is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Director Business Development to help achieve organic and operational growth and performance objectives by specifically leading the identification, development and winning of new customer contracts for a ground-breaking hydrogen plus acetylene producing technology. The ideal candidate will direct the business development activities of the organization and drive the sales business ranging from owning the responsibility to find, develop, negotiate and execute customer agreements, to working with the R&D and project execution teams to incorporate plant design, lead time and cost estimates to ensure long term profitable customer agreements. They play a key role in the company and in the generation of new business. This individual will also be responsible for managing marketing and customer service activities.

The pipeline of prospective customers will come from applications including chemicals, acetylene, carbon-black, graphene, industrial gases, fuel cells, mining, etc. In addition, the Director Business Development needs to be able to embrace valued added selling to successfully position the technology to potential customers. The Director Business Development will be commercializing this new technology through build, own and operate long term agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategy and operations for marketing and customer relations activities for the North America market
  • Develop techno-commercial solutions that profitably drives value to customers including the value of clean technology.
  • Plan and coordinate the penetration of new markets
  • Draft and negotiate project scope, timelines, off-take volumes and pricing, price adjustment mechanisms and performance guarantees that go into our customer proposals. Targets should be stretch but achievable.
  • Lead the deal team including coordination of legal, finance, operations, and R&D to accomplish agreed deliverables.
  • Own relationships will all customers within your territory / responsibility.
  • Develop appropriate long and short-range goals for the business development team that align with the Company’s overall business plan.
  • Continuous development of new customers.
  • Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and sales metrics (KPIs) in accordance with the company’s annual budget.
  • Drive market and company awareness of Transform Materials’ technology; Provide feedback to company leadership on sales related topics
  • Define and implement appropriate CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strict adherence to the Company’s corporate policies and Code of Conduct requirements, as well as all Federal and State regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred major engineering, sciences)
  • 7-10 years selling experience, focus on industrial gases and/or chemicals
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Proven ability to sell clean technologies and the value of ESG
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Must have personality traits that include integrity, tenacity, perseverance, empathy, and a can-do, positive attitude
  • Experience writing business plans and progress reports for internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills
